Regular Season Round 4: Zamarat - Cadi La Seu 55-72

There was a small surprise when eleventh ranked Cadi La Seu (2-2) beat 9th ranked Zamarat (1-2) in Zamora 72-55 on Sunday. It was a very good performance for Canadian center Quinn Urbaniak-Dornstauder (193-95, college: ASU) who helped to win the game recording 18 points and 8 rebounds (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field). Swingman Ariadna Pujol (185-95, college: S.Florida) contributed with 12 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. Swingman Marta Montoliu (182-94) replied with 14 points and 5 steals and American power forward Abbie Wolf (193-98, college: Northwestern) added 13 points in the effort for Zamarat. Both coaches tested many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Cadi La Seu moved-up to seventh place, which they share with IDK Eustotren and Gernika. Loser Zamarat dropped to the tenth position with two games lost. Cadi La Seu will face higher ranked Valencia (#3) at home in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Zamarat will play against the league's leader Perfumerias Avenida (#1) having rather not much hope for a victory.
