Regular Season Round 1: Bucaros - Storm 97-99

Very significant was Storm's just 2-point road victory against Bucaros 99-97. Bucaros were very close to get their first win. But it seems they have to wait a little bit longer. American center Donte Greene (208-88, college: Syracuse) nailed 29 points and 4 assists for the winning side and his fellow American import forward Michael Watkins (206-95, college: Penn St.) accounted for 20 points and 14 rebounds. Canadian forward Tyrrel Tate (198-92, college: Fayetteville St.) came up with 23 points and 8 rebounds and American power forward Anthony Young (200-89, college: KWC) added 28 points and 6 rebounds respectively for Bucaros in the defeat. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Storm will play against Titanes in Barranquilla in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Bucaros will play on the road against Condores in Cundinamarca and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
