Important game to mention about took place in Opole. Eleventh ranked AZS PO (2-2) saved a 1-point victory at home edging 12th ranked Wisla Krakow (1-3) 95-94 on Wednesday evening. AZS PO shot 60.7 percent from the field and made 17-of-19 free shots (89.5 percent) during the game. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of forward Patryk Wilk (197-97) who helped to win the game recording 14 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists and point guard Adam Brenk (193-95) who added 19 points and 6 assists during the contest. Five AZS PO players scored in double figures. At the losing side forward Rafal Zglobicki (197-94) responded with 25 points and power forward Maciej Maj (203-88) scored 18 points. Wisla Krakow's coach Piotr Piecuch rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. AZS PO moved-up to eighth place. Newly promoted Wisla Krakow dropped to the thirteenth position with three games lost. AZS PO will face league's second-placed Slask 2 in Wroclaw in the next round and they do not belong to the favorites in that game. Wisla Krakow will play at home against WKK Wroclaw (#3) and hope to win that game.
