Kobrat used a home court advantage and smashed the opponent from Uusikaupunki 113-80 on Wednesday night. The game without a history. Kobrat led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They made 26-of-31 free shots (83.9 percent) during the game, while Korihait only scored nine points from the stripe. Kobrat shot the lights out from three sinking 13 long-distance shots on high 54.2 percentage. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 34 assists comparing to just 14 passes made by Korihait's players. Korihait was plagued by 24 personal fouls down the stretch. The game was dominated by American players. Forward Jordan Loveridge (198-93, college: Utah) fired 25 points, 7 rebounds and 6 assists for the winners. Forward Nate Grimes (203-96, college: Fresno St.) chipped in a double-double by scoring 19 points and 11 rebounds. Guard Trey Zeigler (198-91, college: TCU) produced 22 points and 4 assists and point guard Trevor Blondin (193-96, college: Seton Hill) added 12 points and 5 assists respectively for lost side. Five Kobrat and four Korihait players scored in double figures. Korihait's coach Jarno Nikula gave up on the game allowing to play ten players seeing no chance for a win. Kobrat will face Vilpas in Salo in the next round which should be another easy win for them. Korihait will play at home against KTP Basket and hope to win that game.
