Bottom-ranked Gomel is still unable to win any game. This time they lost on the road their third consecutive match to third ranked BDU Tsmoki (2-2) 102-49. The game without a history. BDU Tsmoki led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 64 of its points in the paint compared to Gomel's 20. BDU Tsmoki forced 28 Gomel turnovers and outrebounded them 51-28 including a 36-19 advantage in defensive rebounds. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 35 assists comparing to just 13 passes made by Gomel's players. Alena Tsitavets (180-3) fired a double-double by scoring 21 points and 20 rebounds for the winners. The former international guard Anastasiya Sushchyk (160-97) chipped in 15 points, 5 rebounds and 7 assists. Five BDU Tsmoki players scored in double figures. Guard Maryna Rakauskaya-Minkevich (173-92) produced 21 points and 5 rebounds and swingman Yana Paraschenko (177-5) added 10 points and 5 assists respectively for lost side. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Despite that victory BDU Tsmoki went down to fourth position due to points difference. Gomel at the other side still closes the standings with three games lost. BDU Tsmoki's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will travel locally in Minsk to the arena Gorizont 2.
