Regular Season Round 6: Shanghai - Henan 71-66

Very expected game in Shanghai where 9th ranked Henan Phoenix (2-3) was defeated by fourth ranked Swordfish (5-1) 71-66 on Friday. However just five-point win is not that big difference and the fans of host team counted on more convincing victory. Forward Yuyan Zhou (178-99) scored 16 points to lead the charge for the winners and the former international Jing Huang (183-85) chipped in 10 points, 5 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 steals during the contest. Swordfish's coach used entire bench in such tough game. The best for the losing side was center Lingge Zhang (187-99) with 20 points and 5 rebounds and international forward Ru Zhang (179-99) scored 21 points. They have a solid three-game winning streak. Swordfish moved-up to third place. Loser Henan Phoenix dropped to the tenth position with three games lost. Swordfish will face Hebei (#14) in Hengshui in the next round which should be an easy win for them. Henan Phoenix will play on the road against the league's leader Jiangsu Phoenix (#1) in Nanjing and hope to win that game.
