Regular Season Round 3: Kongsberg - Gimle BBK 81-95

The most crucial game of the last round was a loss of Kongsberg (2-1) at the home court on Saturday night. Hosts were defeated by Gimle BBK (3-1) 95-81. Gimle BBK looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. It was a great evening for the former international guard Eivind Lamo (200-96) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 27 points and 14 rebounds. American forward Chavares Flanigan (198, college: UW-Parkside) helped adding 16 points, 6 rebounds, 7 assists and 5 steals. Four Gimle BBK players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was Serbian guard Ognjen Nisavic (195-92) with 28 points and 8 rebounds and Croatian Marin Mornar (205-93, college: LMU) produced a double-double by scoring 17 points, 16 rebounds and 5 blocks. Gimle BBK are looking forward to face Fyllingen BBK (#9) on the road in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Kongsberg will play against Nidaros Jets (#10) in Tromdheim and is hoping to win this game.
