Regular Season Round 6: Akita NH - Ryukyu GK 76-82

An interesting game for Ryukyu GK (4-2) which played road game in Akita against one of their biggest challengers Akita Happinets (4-2). Second ranked Ryukyu GK managed to get a 6-point victory 82-76. Ryukyu GK forced 21 Akita Happinets turnovers. American power forward Jack Cooley (206-91, college: Notre Dame, agency: Pensack Sports) notched a double-double by scoring 19 points and 15 rebounds (on 9-of-11 shooting from the field) to lead the effort and the other American import forward Dwayne Evans (201-92, college: St.Louis, agency: Wasserman) supported him with 14 points and 9 rebounds. Even 15 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists by Bahamas power forward Kadeem Coleby (206-89, college: Wichita St.) did not help to save the game for Akita Happinets. Point guard Takuya Nakayama (182-94) added 14 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. Ryukyu GK have a solid four-game winning streak. They maintain second position with 4-2 record behind leader Sea Horses M., which they share with 3 other teams including defeated Akita Happinets.
