PuHu Juniorit used a home court advantage and beat the opponent from Lahti 83-68 on Sunday night. The game without a history. PuHu Juniorit led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Power forward Niki Ahola (201-98) fired 20 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. American guard Trey Hall III (193-95, college: Cameron) chipped in 12 points and 5 assists. PuHu Juniorit's coach Mikko Larkas used entire bench and allowed the starting five to get some rest. Toni Soininen (200-0) produced 19 points and 7 rebounds and guard Vaano Mustola (185-3) added 10 points and 7 rebounds respectively for lost side. PuHu Juniorit will face Karkkila on the road in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Team Pajulahti will play against PeU-Basket in Pernio and hope to win that game.
