The game between closely ranked teams ended with 7th ranked Niigata A.'s (3-4) home loss to sixth ranked Shiga L-Stars (2-4) 93-99 on Sunday. Hungarian-American Rosco Allen (208-93, college: Stanford, agency: Pensack Sports) replied with 36 points (!!!) and 9 rebounds and American-North Macedonian center Richard Hendrix (203-86, college: Alabama) added 22 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists in the effort for Niigata A.Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. Shiga L-Stars moved-up to fifth place, which they share with 3 other teams. Loser Niigata A. dropped to the eighth position with four games lost. Shiga L-Stars will face league's second-placed Ryukyu GK in Okinawa in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Niigata A. will play at home against Toyama G. (#3) and hope to win that game.
