Regular Season Round 3: Brescia - San Salvatore 67-55

San Salvatore (2-1) recorded a loss on the court of Brescia on Sunday night. Visitors were defeated by Brescia 67-55. Brescia forced 19 San Salvatore turnovers. It was a great evening for guard Carlotta Zanardi (178-5) who led her team to a victory scoring 19 points, 8 rebounds, 6 assists and 4 steals. Guard Ramona Tomasoni (170-4) helped adding 11 points and 8 rebounds. The best for the losing side was swingman Marta Granzotto (173-92) with 7 points, 11 rebounds and 7 assists and forward Giulia Manzotti (179-93) scored 19 points. Both coaches tested many bench players saving starting five for next games. Brescia will meet Civitanova (#7) in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. San Salvatore will play against Cagliari V and hope to secure a win.
