No shocking result in a game when Storm (2-1) beat at home Piratas (0-2) 96-87. Storm dominated down low during the game scoring 72 of its points in the paint compared to Piratas' 52. Piratas were plagued by 24 personal fouls down the stretch. It was a great evening for international power forward Luis Almanza (196-91) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 22 points and 10 rebounds. Dominican forward Juan-Miguel Suero (196-93) helped adding 19 points and 7 assists. Five Storm players scored in double figures.
