Regular Season Round 5: Koscian - Slask 3 62-73

Slask 3 can celebrate their first win this season after three consecutive losses. The victory is especially important as it came on the road game in Koscian, where they defeated Koscian (1-3) 73-62 on Wednesday. They outrebounded Koscian 45-31 including 17 on the offensive glass. The best player for the winners was Igor Kozlowski (195-1) who scored 20 points and 7 rebounds. Point guard Kacper Burakiewicz (180-2) chipped in 15 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists. Slask 3's coach Jacek Krzykala used a ten-player rotation and allowed the starting five to get some rest. Guard Pawel Ciazkowski (190-86) produced a double-double by scoring 17 points and 11 rebounds and Michal Hebdzynski (190-94) added 11 points and 5 rebounds respectively for the hosts. Despite that victory Slask 3 went down to eighth position due to points difference, which they share with 8 other teams including defeated Koscian. It was Koscian's third loss in a row. Slask 3's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will face at home their local rival from Wroclaw Gimbasket.
