The game with biggest result difference took place in Urumqi. Local Magic Deer (5-2) outscored 15th ranked Tianjin (1-6) 112-56 on Wednesday night. Magic Deer dominated down low during the game scoring 74 of its points in the paint compared to Tianjin's 40 and made 20-of-22 free shots (90.9 percent) during the game. Magic Deer forced 24 Tianjin turnovers and outrebounded them 42-22 including a 14-3 advantage in offensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 27 assists comparing to just 3 passes made by Tianjin's players. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Magic Deer made 7 blocks. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. The victory was the third consecutive win for Magic Deer. They moved-up to fourth place, which they share with Beijing and Sichuan. Loser Tianjin keeps the fifteenth position with six games lost. Magic Deer will face Red Wolves (#13) in Weinan in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Tianjin will play at home against Vermilion Birds and hope to win that game.
