Regular Season Round 7: Iskra Svit - Levice 94-74

Very important is a road loss of third ranked Levice (3-3) against fifth ranked Iskra Svit (3-3) on Wednesday night. Visiting Levice was crushed by Iskra Svit in Svit 94-74. Iskra Svit dominated down low during the game scoring 80 of its points in the paint compared to Levice's 40. Iskra Svit forced 24 Levice turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. It was a great evening for American forward DeSean Parsons (201-95, college: Portland St.) who led his team to a victory scoring 23 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists. His fellow American import guard Daquaise Andrews (188-97, college: SNHU) helped adding 15 points, 10 assists and 6 steals. Four Iskra Svit players scored in double figures. At the losing side Croatian power forward Zoran Vrkic (203-87, agency: SDJ Sports) responded with 22 points and 4 assists and American guard Henri Wade-Chatman (188-92, college: Edinboro) scored 15 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists. Both coaches tested many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Iskra Svit moved-up to third place, which they share with defeated Levice. Iskra Svit will meet at home league's second-placed Lucenec in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Levice will play against Prievidza and hope to secure a win.
