Bucaros made 27-of-31 charity shots (87.1 percent) during the game. 24 personal fouls committed by Trigrillos helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. It was a very good performance for American power forward Anthony Young (200-89, college: KWC) who helped to win the game recording 40 points (!!!) and 5 rebounds. Dominican point guard Adris De-Leon (180-84, college: EWU) contributed with 22 points, 6 rebounds and 8 assists for the winners. American center Chris Ware (203-89, college: Indiana Tech) replied with 19 points and 9 rebounds and his fellow American import point guard Jamaal Smith (176-85, college: N.Mexico) added 18 points and 8 assists in the effort for Trigrillos. Four Bucaros and five Trigrillos players scored in double figures. Bucaros moved-up to second place, which they share with Team Cali. Trigrillos lost third consecutive game. Newly promoted team keep the sixth position with three games lost. Bucaros' next round opponent will be league's leader Titanes in Barranquilla and it will be for sure the game of the week. Trigrillos will play at home against Sabios (#7) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
