LNBP top team - Aaguacateros (13-4) added another victory to their record on Friday. This time they beat sixth ranked Abejas (4-13) in Guanajuato 96-91. American guard Donald Sims (180-87, college: App State, agency: Pensack Sports) orchestrated the victory by scoring 27 points and 7 assists. Argentinian forward Facundo Pinero (202-88) contributed with 19 points and 8 rebounds for the winners. American-Dominican forward Angel Nunez (203-91, college: S.Florida) answered with a double-double by scoring 28 points and 12 rebounds and American Terrell Carter-II (208-95, college: Fresno St., agency: Haylett Sports) added 15 points, 11 rebounds and 4 assists (was perfect 7-for-7 from the free throw line) in the effort for Abejas. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Aaguacateros maintains first place with 13-4 record. Abejas at the other side keep the sixth position with 13 games lost. Aaguacateros will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Abejas will play again at home against the league's leader Aaguacateros (#1) and are hoping to prove to their supporters that this time they can win.
