Date: October 24, 2020
Everything could happen at the game between two tied teams. Both eighth ranked Milano and 9th ranked Albino had identical 1-2 record. But Albino was not able to use a home court advantage and was outplayed by the opponent from Milano 86-60 on Saturday night. Milano forced 21 Albino turnovers. It was a very good performance for Arianna Beretta (180-96) who helped to win the game recording 27 points (on 9-of-11 shooting from the field). Croatian forward Karmen Cicic (185-94) contributed with 17 points for the winners. Four Milano players scored in double figures. Forward Patrizia De-Gianni (190-88) replied with 7 points, 11 rebounds and 5 assists and guard Alessia Panseri (174-98) added 10 points in the effort for Albino. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Milano (2-2) moved-up to seventh place in A2. Loser Albino dropped to the eleventh position with three games lost. Milano will face higher ranked Vicenza (#5) at home in the next round and it may be quite challenging game.
