Rather expected game when bottom-ranked San-en NeoPhoenix (0-9) lost to seventh ranked Dragonflies (3-6) in Hiroshima 109-115 on Sunday. Dragonflies made 31-of-37 free shots (83.8 percent) during the game. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 28 assists. San-en NeoPhoenix was plagued by 28 personal fouls down the stretch. It was a good game for Venezuelan center Gregory Echenique (206-90, college: Creighton, agency: Pensack Sports) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 25 points and 13 rebounds. American forward Thomas Kennedy (201-87, college: Detroit) contributed with 32 points for the winners. Serbian power forward Stevan Jelovac (208-89, agency: BeoBasket) answered with a double-double by scoring 25 points, 12 rebounds and 4 assists (went 7 for 7 at the free throw line) and Serbian guard Nenad Miljenovic (194-93, agency: BeoBasket) added 25 points, 5 rebounds and 8 assists in the effort for San-en NeoPhoenix. Four Dragonflies and five San-en NeoPhoenix players scored in double figures. San-en NeoPhoenix's coach let to play ten players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. Dragonflies moved-up to sixth place, which they share with 3 other teams. San-en NeoPhoenix lost their ninth game in a row. They still close the standings with nine games lost.
