Regular Season Round 3: Brunell - DCU Mercy 71-67

Brunell defeated DCU Mercy in Cork 71-67. It was a good game for American forward Shannon Ryan (193-98, college: St.Anselm) who led her team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 12 points and 12 rebounds. The former international guard Edel Thornton (175-96, college: Quinnipiac) contributed with 15 points for the winners. Five Brunell players scored in double figures. American forward Bailey Greenberg (180-88, college: Drexel) answered with 25 points and 9 rebounds and the former international forward Hannah Thornton (185-91, college: N.Colorado) added 16 points and 8 rebounds in the effort for DCU Mercy. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. DCU Mercy will play next round against strong Liffey Celtics trying to get back on the winning streak. Brunell will try to continue on its current victory against Marble CH at Kilkenny.
