Regular Season Round 9: Yamanashi QB - Toyota B SR 46-74

No shocking result in a game when fourth ranked Toyota B SR (5-4) crushed on the road 6th ranked Yamanashi QB (1-9) 74-46 on Sunday. Toyota B SR dominated down low during the game scoring 50 of its points in the paint compared to Yamanashi QB's 30. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. It was a good game for the former international Yuki Kato (179-97) who led her team to a victory with 16 points and 5 assists. Forward Saki Iijima (172-92) contributed with 15 points and 4 steals for the winners. Guard Uchibori Murasaki (165-94) answered with 9 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists and forward Nago Mizuno (171-94) added 13 points in the effort for Yamanashi QB. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Toyota B SR maintains fourth place with 5-4 record. Yamanashi QB lost their eighth game in a row. They keep the sixth position with nine games lost. Toyota B SR will face higher ranked Denso Iris (#3) in Kariya in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory.
