Very expected game when 11th ranked San Martino (1-3) lost to fifth ranked Bolzano BC (3-1) in San Martino di L 55-61 on Sunday. Bolzano BC forced 21 San Martino turnovers and had a 31-20 advantage in offensive rebounds. It was a very good performance for Croatian center Lorena Molnar (192-98) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 17 points and 14 rebounds. Naturalized Senegalese guard Safy Fall (173-89) contributed with 15 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. Guard Veronica Antonello (174-3) replied with 13 points and guard Claudia Amabiglia (175-98) added 10 points in the effort for San Martino. San Martino's coach Francesca Di Chiara rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Bolzano BC moved-up to third place in A2. Loser San Martino dropped to the twelfth position with three games lost. Bolzano BC will face Albino (#11) at home in the next round and are hoping to win another game. San Martino will play against Moncalieri and hope to win that game.
