And finally the game worth to mention about is undefeated Benidorm's easy win against Cartagena 76-64. It was a key game for the top position in Group E-B. Cartagena was plagued by 28 personal fouls down the stretch. It was a very good performance for point guard Miguel Ortin (172-98) who helped to win the game recording 15 points and 6 rebounds. Power forward Didier Closset (200-98) contributed with 16 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. Four Benidorm players scored in double figures. Forward Juan-Pedro Jimenez (202-97) replied with 20 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists and Latvian guard Ojars Berzins (191-1) added 16 points and 8 rebounds (on 6-of-7 shooting from the field) in the effort for Cartagena. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. Benidorm (2-0) keeps a position of Group E-B leader, which they share with Gandia and UAF Lucentum. Loser Cartagena dropped to the fourth place with one game lost. Benidorm will face league's second-placed Gandia at home in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week.
