No shocking result in a game when Kipina beat Raholan P. in Tampere 98-89 on Sunday. Raholan P. was tied after three quarters but could not keep up in the last quarter eventually losing the game. American guard Anton Gill (191-94, college: Nebraska, agency: Green Sports Management) orchestrated the victory by scoring 44 points (!!!) and 8 rebounds. The other American import forward Antonio Bivins (198-92, college: UMass Lowell) contributed with 22 points and 7 rebounds for the winners. Power forward Lauri Tiainen (193-90) replied with a double-double by scoring 16 points, 12 rebounds and 6 assists and forward Olli Kanerva (198-96) added 16 points and 9 rebounds in the effort for Raholan P.Five Raholan P. players scored in double figures. Raholan P.'s coach Juho Jaakkola rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Kipina's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will face at home their local rival from Aanekoski Huima.
