The most crucial game of the last round was the first loss of Olimpia (2-1) in Grodno on Sunday night. Hosts were defeated by Tsmoki-Minsk (4-0) in overtime 93-87. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Olimpia. The guests trailed by 9 points after three quarters before their 28-19 charge, which allowed them to tie the game at the end of regular time and get a 6-point victory in overtime. Tsmoki-Minsk made 17-of-21 free shots (81.0 percent) during the game. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 26 assists. The former international forward Ala Murauskaya (187-85) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 26 points, 15 rebounds and 9 assists for the winners and American point guard Britney Jones (174-87, college: UAB, agency: LBM Management) chipped in 27 points, 5 rebounds and 9 assists. Forward Nadzeya Nadzezhka (183-87) responded with a double-double by scoring 21 points and 12 rebounds (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field) and point guard Yuliya Vasilevich (165-1) produced a double-double by scoring 18 points, 11 assists and 5 steals. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Olimpia's coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Tsmoki-Minsk have a solid series of four victories in a row. Defending champion keeps a position of league leader, which they share with Gorizont. Olimpia at the other side dropped to the fourth place with one game lost. Tsmoki-Minsk's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will travel locally in Minsk to the arena BDU Tsmoki.
