9th ranked Golden Bulls (4-4) were outscored at home by sixth ranked Blue Whales (6-2) with the biggest margin this round 103-71 on Tuesday night. Blue Whales forced 22 Golden Bulls turnovers and outrebounded them 52-28 including a 21-5 advantage in offensive rebounds. Blue Whales looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. The best player for the winners was the former international Song Song (188-92) who had a double-double by scoring 21 points and 15 rebounds. Forward Yiming Hu (190-97) chipped in 12 points and 5 rebounds. At the other side the best for losing team was guard Jiaqi Wang (170-99) who recorded 10 points and 9 assists and center Jiyuan Wan (185-2) added 14 points respectively. Five Blue Whales and four Golden Bulls players scored in double figures. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Blue Whales maintains sixth place with 6-2 record. Loser Golden Bulls keep the ninth position with four games lost. Blue Whales will meet at home Sports Lottery (#12) in the next round which should be theoretically another easy game.
