Another interesting game was a derby match between two local teams from Montevideo: Trouville (#4) and Nacional (#2). Trouville (2-3) won against visiting Nacional (3-2) 73-61. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Nacional. Argentinian swingman Federico Mariani (190-92) scored 15 points, 5 rebounds and 7 assists to lead the charge for the winners and point guard Alex Lopez (186-93) chipped in 17 points during the contest. The best for the losing side was American Dominique Morrison (198-89, college: ORU, agency: Haylett Sports) with 19 points and 5 rebounds and point guard Manuel Romero (183-92) scored 9 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists.
