Another interesting game was again a derby between two local teams from Minsk: Tsmoki-Minsk (#2) and Gorizont 2 (#7). Tsmoki-Minsk (6-0) smashed visiting Gorizont 2 (0-4) by 61 points 104-43. The game without a history. Tsmoki-Minsk led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated on the defensive end, holding Gorizont 2 to just 5 points in third quarter. Tsmoki-Minsk held Gorizont 2 to an opponent 23.5 percent shooting from the field compared to 53.7 percent accuracy of the winners. Tsmoki-Minsk forced 19 Gorizont 2 turnovers and outrebounded them 57-34 including a 41-18 advantage in defensive rebounds. Tsmoki-Minsk looked well-organized offensively handing out 33 assists comparing to just 6 passes made by Gorizont 2's players. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Tsmoki-Minsk made 9 blocks. The former international forward Ala Murauskaya (187-85) scored 20 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists to lead the charge for the winners and forward Katsiaryna Rybalka (182-98) chipped in 14 points, 11 rebounds and 4 assists during the contest. Five Tsmoki-Minsk players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was point guard Irina Durmanova (165-1) with 18 points and 8 rebounds and forward Aleksandra Chyzhevskaya (185-2) scored 2 points and 10 rebounds. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Tsmoki-Minsk have an impressive six-game winning streak. Defending champion keeps a position of league leader, which they share with Gorizont. Loser Gorizont 2 still closes the standings with four games lost. Tsmoki-Minsk's supporters look forward to another derby game next round, where their team will face at home their local rival from Minsk Gorizont.
