Regular Season Round 8: Zadar - H.Analitica 94-73

Premijer Liga top team - Zadar (6-1) had no problems winning another game. This time they crushed eleventh ranked H.Analitica (1-6) 94-73. Zadar dominated down low during the game scoring 52 of its points in the paint compared to H.Analitica's 30. They shot the lights out from three nailing 12 long-distance shots on high 52.2 percentage. The winners were led by Ethiopian-American guard Eyassu Worku (188-98, college: UC Irvine) who scored that evening 20 points and 4 assists (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field) and American swingman Justin Carter (193-87, college: Creighton, agency: Alti Sport) supported him with 14 points. Five Zadar players scored in double figures. Zadar's coach Veljko Mrsic felt very confident that he used 11 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Even 16 points by guard Ivan Svoboda (190-87) did not help to save the game for H.Analitica. Naturalized Slovenian guard Bruno Peric (194-94) added 14 points and 4 assists for the guests. Zadar have a solid four-game winning streak. Defending champion maintains first position with 6-1 record, which they share with Cibona. H.Analitica at the other side dropped to the bottom place with six games lost. Zadar will play against Dubrava (#8) in Zagreb in the next round and are hoping to win another game. H.Analitica's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will face at home their local rival from Zagreb Cibona.
