Regular Season Round 3: Lahti - OBA 67-77

Another exciting game was between OBA and Lahti where OBA (1-2) beat Lahti (0-3) on the road 77-67. The game was mostly controlled by OBA. Lahti was better in fourth quarter 20-15. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. OBA forced 22 Lahti turnovers. It was a good game for guard Veikka Koivisto (189-3) who led his team to a victory with 18 points, 9 rebounds, 4 assists and 5 steals. Guard Jose Botti (192-2) contributed with 17 points and 6 assists for the winners. Guard Vaano Mustola (185-3) answered with 24 points and 7 rebounds and point guard Atte Lahteenmaki (186-3) added 18 points in the effort for Lahti. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. OBA will play against HNMKY in Helsinki in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Lahti will play on the road against Sykki (#10) in Helsinki and hopes to get finally their first victory.
