The game in was also worth to mention about. Second ranked Bucaros (5-2) played at the court of 6th ranked Storm (3-5). Bucaros defeated Storm 90-79. Bucaros made 18-of-22 charity shots (81.8 percent) during the game. Strangely Storm outrebounded Bucaros 43-29 including 19 on the offensive glass. The winners were led by American power forward Anthony Young (200-89, college: KWC) who scored that evening 22 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists (was perfect 10-for-10 from the free throw line !!!) and Dominican point guard Adris De-Leon (180-84, college: EWU) supported him with 21 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists. Five Bucaros players scored in double figures. Even a double-double of 16 points and 11 rebounds by international power forward Luis Almanza (196-91) did not help to save the game for Storm. Center Brayan Almonte (206-91) added 8 points and 13 rebounds for the hosts. Storm's coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Bucaros have a solid three-game winning streak. They maintain second position with 5-2 record having four points less than leader Titanes. Newly promoted Storm dropped to the fifth place with five games lost. Bucaros' next round opponent will be Condores (#5) in Cundinamarca. Storm will play on the road against the league's leader Titanes in Barranquilla and hope to win that game.
