Boras Basket forced the game against KFUM Jamtland into an overtime, but lost by one point 89-90 on Saturday night. Boras Basket trailed by 11 points at halftime and as many as 12 after three quarters before a 27-15 last quarter charge cut the deficit to tie the game 79-79 at the end of regular time. But then they lost overtime period 10-11. Guyanese forward Cyril Langevine (203-98, college: URI, agency: BeoBasket) notched a double-double by scoring 16 points and 16 rebounds to lead the effort and American Tavrion Dawson (202-96, college: CSUN) supported him with 24 points and 4 assists. KFUM Jamtland's coach Adnan Chuk used an eleven-player rotation in such tough game. Even 23 points and 5 rebounds by American point guard Avery Woodson (188-93, college: Butler) did not help to save the game for Boras Basket. William Gutenius (205-92) added 16 points and 7 rebounds for the guests. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. KFUM Jamtland will meet Norrkoping Dolphins on the road in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Boras Basket will play against Fryshuset and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
