Regular Season Round 6: Notec Inowr. - Gniezno 81-48
Date: October 31, 2020
No shocking result in a game when top-ranked Notec Inowr. (4-0) crushed 8th ranked Gniezno (1-3) in Inowroclaw 81-48 on Saturday. Notec Inowr. forced 20 Gniezno turnovers and outrebounded them 50-25 including a 23-4 advantage in offensive rebounds. It was a good game for swingman Damian Janiak (195-89, agency: Promotex) who led his team to a victory with 14 points and 9 rebounds. Center Karol Michalek (208-87, agency: Promotex) contributed with 8 points and 11 rebounds for the winners. Piotr Lesniczak (203-99) replied with 15 points and 5 rebounds and point guard Daniel Kotwasinski (185-99) added 11 points in the effort for Gniezno. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Notec Inowr. have a solid four-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 4-0 record, which they share with AZS UMCS and Zary. Loser Gniezno dropped to the ninth place with three games lost. Notec Inowr. will face AWFiS Gdynia (#7) on the road in the next round where they are favorite. Gniezno will play against Arka 2 and hope to win that game.
