Very expected game when Ionikos Nikaias was defeated at home by Peristeri GS 80-75 on Saturday. The guests took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But Ionikos Nikaias won third quarter 20-13. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Peristeri GS made 25-of-33 free shots (75.8 percent) during the game. 26 personal fouls committed by Ionikos Nikaias helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. American Steven Gray (196-89, college: Gonzaga, agency: Octagon Europe) scored 18 points to lead the charge for the winners and the other American import forward Tre McLean (196-93, college: Chattanooga) chipped in 15 points and 6 rebounds during the contest.
