Regular Season Round 10: Nova Ves - Levice 79-91

Top ranked Nova Ves (7-2) recorded its second loss at the home court on Saturday night. Hosts were defeated by third ranked Levice (5-4) 91-79. It ended at the same time the seven-game winning streak of Nova Ves. They outrebounded Nova Ves 31-20 including 21 on the defensive glass. Levice shot the lights out from three sinking 16 long-distance shots on high 51.6 percentage. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. International point guard Simon Krajcovic (191-94, college: LMU) fired a double-double by scoring 14 points, 6 rebounds and 11 assists for the winners. American guard Henri Wade-Chatman (188-92, college: Edinboro) chipped in 21 points and 4 assists. Serbian Milan Nikolic (200-92) produced 21 points and 6 rebounds and the former international center Michal Batka (204-87) added 16 points and 4 assists respectively for lost side. Both teams had five players each who scored in double figures. Levice maintains third position with 5-4 record having just two points less than leader Nova Ves. Nova Ves at the other side still keep top place with two games lost. Levice are looking forward to face league's second-placed Lucenec on the road in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Nova Ves will play against Iskra Svit and are hoping to win this game.
