Rather expected game when 13th ranked Wisla Krakow (1-5) was defeated at home by eleventh ranked Pruszkow (2-2) 61-55 on Saturday. Pruszkow forced 19 Wisla Krakow turnovers. Power forward Mateusz Szwed (198-91) fired a double-double by scoring 10 points and 12 rebounds for the winners. Guard Roman Janik (187-95) chipped in 12 points. Janik is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. Michal Chrabota (196-99) produced a double-double by scoring 11 points and 10 rebounds and power forward Jakub Zaczek (204-96) added 12 points and 8 rebounds respectively for lost side. Wisla Krakow's coach Piotr Piecuch rotated eleven players in this game, but that didn't help. Pruszkow moved-up to eighth place, which they share with Lancut. Wisla Krakow lost their fourth game in a row. Newly promoted team dropped to the fourteenth position with five games lost. Pruszkow will meet bottom-ranked Kolobrzeg (#16) on the road in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Wisla Krakow will play against Lowicz and hope to win that game.
