Regular Season Round 4: Jairis - Prat 89-90

The most exciting game of round 4 in the LEB Silver took place in Jairis. This derby game ended with only one-point home defeat of bottom-ranked Jairis (0-2) to top-ranked Prat (4-0) 90-89 on Sunday evening. Guest team only slightly avoided a big embarassment. Prat made 30-of-36 free shots (83.3 percent) during the game. 29 personal fouls committed by Jairis helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. Worth to mention a great performance of Brazilian center Vinicius Da-Silva (212-1) who helped to win the game recording 13 points, 9 rebounds and 6 assists and forward Marc Blanch (195-82) who added 19 points during the contest. At the losing side forward Jon Aramburu (204-92) responded with a double-double by scoring 23 points and 10 rebounds (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field) and Juan-Ignacio Jasen (199-85) scored 18 points. Five Prat and four Jairis players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Prat keeps a position of Silver leader. Newly promoted Jairis still closes the standings with two games lost. Prat are looking forward to face Villarrobledo (#11) at home in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Jairis will play against FC Barcelona 2 and hopes to get finally their first victory.
