Regular Season Round 10: Toyota A. - Aishin AW 84-59

WJBL top team - Toyota A. (9-1) had no problems winning another game. This time they crushed fifth ranked Aishin AW (1-9) in Nagoya 84-59. They outrebounded Aishin AW 46-32 including a 23-12 advantage in offensive rebounds. Toyota A. players were unselfish on offense dishing 22 assists. 25 personal fouls committed by Aishin AW helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. Worth to mention a great performance of the former international power forward Evelyn Mawuli (180-95) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 17 points and 13 rebounds. The former international center Stephanie Mawuli (181-98) contributed with 12 points for the winners. Center Rui Sanma (184-99) replied with 10 points and 9 rebounds and international Kiho Miyashita (178-98) added 10 points and 5 rebounds in the effort for Aishin AW. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Toyota A. have an impressive nine-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 9-1 record. Aishin AW lost ninth consecutive game. They keep the fifth place with nine games lost. Toyota A.'s next round opponent will be Toyota B SR (#4) in Aichi.
