Regular Season Round 3: Teodo Tivat - S.Centar 76-106

The most crucial game of the last round was a loss of Teodo Tivat (2-1) at the home court on Sunday night. Hosts were rolled over by S.Centar (3-0) 106-76. They made 20-of-24 free shots (83.3 percent) during the game. S.Centar outrebounded Teodo Tivat 39-26 including 26 on the defensive glass. They shot the lights out from three sinking 18 long-distance shots on high 58.1 percentage. 24 personal fouls committed by Teodo Tivat helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. The best player for the winners was American guard Fletcher Magee (193-96, college: Wofford) who scored 24 points (perfect behind the arc making all seven shots !!!). International guard Igor Drobnjak (188-0) chipped in 13 points, 6 rebounds and 8 assists. Five S.Centar players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was the former international forward Petar Kusovac (195-93, college: S.Centar) who recorded 26 points and 4 assists (went 13 for 13 at the free throw line !!!) and Bosnian forward Lazar Djurovic (203-97, college: Dominican, CA) added 12 points and 9 rebounds respectively. Teodo Tivat's coach Mirko Prorokovic gave up on the game allowing to play ten players seeing no chance for a win. S.Centar is looking forward to face Zeta (#7) in Golubovci in the next round which should be theoretically another easy game. Teodo Tivat will play on the road against Sutjeska in Niksic and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
