Regular Season Round 11: Bucaros - Tigrillos 86-87

The most exciting game of round 11 in the LPB took place in Bucaramanga. This derby game ended with only one-point home defeat of second-ranked Bucaros (6-4) to fourth ranked Trigrillos (6-5) 87-86 on Wednesday evening. Trigrillos shot the lights out from three sinking 12 long-distance shots on high 52.2 percentage. The best player for the winners was American forward Nick King (201-95, college: MTSU) who scored 29 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists. His fellow American import forward Roderick Lawrence (196-93, college: Campbellsville) chipped in 22 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists. American power forward Anthony Young (200-89, college: KWC) produced 22 points, 8 rebounds and 6 assists and Canadian forward Tyrrel Tate (198-92, college: Fayetteville St.) added 24 points and 5 rebounds respectively for the hosts. Newly promoted Trigrillos maintains fourth place with 6-5 record. Bucaros at the other side keep the second position with four games lost. They share it with Team Cali. Trigrillos are looking forward to face Sabios (#6) in Manizales in the next round. Bucaros will play on the road against the league's leader Titanes (#1) in Barranquilla and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
