Regular Season Round 7: Ostrow Mazow. - Pabianice 109-75

There was no surprise in Ostrow Mazowiecki where bottom-ranked Pabianice (0-6) was outplayed by fifth ranked Ostrow Mazow. (4-2) 109-75 on Wednesday. Ostrow Mazow. forced 22 Pabianice turnovers and outrebounded them 40-26 including 27 on the defensive glass. They shot the lights out from three sinking 13 long-distance shots on high 59.1 percentage. Ostrow Mazow. looked well-organized offensively handing out 30 assists. It was a great evening for guard Cezary Karpik (186-0) who led his team to a victory scoring 21 points and 8 assists (perfect from the field making all seven shots !!!). Ukrainian point guard Aleksander Szczerbatiuk (179-96) helped adding 14 points and 5 assists. At the losing side point guard Filip Sauter (179-99) responded with 9 points and 6 assists and forward Michal Wasilewski (191-94) scored 13 points and 4 steals. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Ostrow Mazow. moved-up to third place, which they share with 5 other teams. Pabianice lost their sixth game in a row. They still close the standings with six games lost. Ostrow Mazow. will face Kutno (#10) on the road in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Pabianice will play against AZS UJK in Kielce and looks forward to get finally their first victory.
