Worth to mention a great performance of guard John Merchant (187-89, college: Dowling) who helped to win the game recording 27 points, 7 rebounds and 7 assists and Jovonni Shuler (198-87, college: SSU) who added 23 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists during the contest. Shuler is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. Five Sabios players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was forward Nick King (201-95, college: MTSU) with 22 points and 5 rebounds (went 8 for 8 at the free throw line) and center Chris Ware (203-89, college: Indiana Tech) scored 19 points and 6 rebounds. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Newly promoted Sabios maintains sixth position with 4-5 record. Trigrillos at the other side, also newcomer in the league, keep the fourth place with six games lost. Sabios will play against higher ranked Condores (#5) in Cundinamarca in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Trigrillos will play against Storm and hope to get back on the winning track.
