There was no surprise when bottom-ranked Jairis (0-3) was defeated on the road by fourth ranked FC Barcelona 2 (4-1) 79-63 on Saturday. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when FC Barcelona 2 made 7 blocks. The best player for the winners was Senegalese guard El-Hadji Badio (188-99) who scored 22 points and 5 rebounds. Xabier Beraza (195-99) chipped in 9 points and 10 rebounds. Juan-Ignacio Jasen (199-85) produced 18 points and 7 rebounds and forward Jon Aramburu (204-92) added 11 points and 6 rebounds respectively for the guests. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to get some rest. FC Barcelona 2 moved-up to third place in Silver.
