Regular Season Round 7: Miedzychod - Slask 3 80-72

Everything went according to plan when sixth ranked Miedzychod (4-1) beat at home 8th ranked Slask 3 (2-4) 80-72 on Saturday. Miedzychod made 16-of-21 free shots (76.2 percent) during the game. They also forced 20 Slask 3 turnovers. It was a great evening for swingman Jakub Nowak (186-89) who led his team to a victory scoring 29 points. Jakub Simon (202-96) helped adding 19 points and 8 rebounds. At the losing side Wojciech Siembiga (195-3) responded with 23 points and forward Jakub Bereszynski (197-4) scored 7 points and 8 rebounds. Slask 3's coach Jacek Krzykala rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Miedzychod moved-up to third place. Newly promoted Slask 3 keeps the eighth position with four games lost. Miedzychod will face Nysa (#12) on the road in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Slask 3 will play against Tarnovia (#7) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
