Regular Season Round 4: Andujar - El Pinar 95-68

There was an upset when top-ranked El Pinar (2-1) was outplayed on the road by top-ranked Andujar (1-0) 95-68 on Saturday. El Pinar was plagued by 25 personal fouls down the stretch. Worth to mention a great performance of guard Angel Vazquez (190-95) who helped to win the game recording 23 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists and Javier Martinez (-3) who added 9 points and 11 rebounds during the contest. Four Andujar players scored in double figures. At the losing side guard Luis Moreno (192-89) responded with 21 points and 9 rebounds and guard Angel Martin (188-88) scored 13 points and 5 rebounds. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players and allowed the starting five to get some rest. Andujar left bottom position moving up to third place in Group D-A, which they share with Novaschool. Newly promoted El Pinar still keeps top position with one game lost. Andujar will face league's second-placed CAM E.Soler 2 in Melilla in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. El Pinar will play at home against Benahavis and hope to win that game.
