Regular Season Round 7: AZS PCz - AZS PWSTE 83-78

We could consider it a predictable result in the game between close teams in Czestochowa where eighth ranked AZS PCz (4-3) won against 7th ranked AZS PWSTE (3-3) 83-78 on Saturday. AZS PCz shot the lights out from three sinking 13 long-distance shots on high 54.2 percentage. It was a great evening for guard Adrian Placzek (182-85) who led his team to a victory scoring 30 points and 6 rebounds. Forward Nikodem Kowalski (200-95) helped adding 21 points and 8 rebounds. Four AZS PCz players scored in double figures. At the losing side forward Lukasz Krawiec (197-82) responded with 19 points and 5 rebounds and Artur Mikolajko (196-79) scored 16 points and 7 rebounds (on 8-of-9 shooting from the field). AZS PCz moved-up to fourth place, which they share with 3 other teams. Loser AZS PWSTE dropped to the fourth position with three games lost. AZS PCz will face UR Krakow (#9) on the road in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. AZS PWSTE will play against the league's leader AZS AGH KR (#1) and hope to win that game.
