Regular Season Round 4: Fryshuset - Umea 97-100

Umea can celebrate their first win this season after two consecutive losses. The victory is especially important as it came on the road game in Stockholm, where they edged Fryshuset (0-3) 100-97 on Saturday. The game without a history. Umea led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They made 30-of-36 free shots (83.3 percent) during the game. Umea looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of Nathan Dawit (192-94) who helped to win the game recording 24 points and 7 assists and Spanish guard Guim Exposito (197-94, agency: Promo Sport ID) who added 24 points and 5 assists during the contest. At the losing side Serbian point guard Aleksa Solevic (190-93, agency: Dynamics Global Management) responded with a triple-double by scoring 24 points, 13 rebounds and 12 assists and the former international Viktor Gaddefors (201-92) scored 12 points and 7 rebounds. Both teams had five players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Umea (1-2) left bottom position moving up to sixth place, which they share with Jamtland. It was Fryshuset's third loss in a row. Newly promoted team still closes the standings with three games lost. Umea will meet at home league's leader Norrkoping Dolphins in the next round and they do not belong to the favorites in that game. Fryshuset will play against the league's second-placed BC Lulea (#2) and hopes to get finally their first victory.
