Regular Season Round 7: Gliwice 2 - UR Krakow 77-63

There was a minor upset when 9th ranked UR Krakow (2-3) was defeated on the road by eleventh ranked Gliwice 2 (2-5) 77-63 on Saturday. It was a great evening for forward Stanislaw Helinski (198-0) who led his team to a victory scoring 28 points and 4 steals. Szymon Wasik (195-0) helped adding 16 points and 7 rebounds. At the losing side power forward Patryk Michalowski (198-1) responded with 9 points and 8 rebounds and power forward Marcin Stasiak (201-99) scored 10 points and 6 rebounds. UR Krakow's coach Marek Paulisch rotated ten players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Gliwice 2 moved-up to tenth place. Loser UR Krakow dropped to the seventh position with three games lost. Gliwice 2 will face league's second-placed Polonia Bytom at home in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory.
