Very expected game when bottom-ranked Xiria (0-1) was defeated on the road by top-ranked Chantada (2-0) 76-68 on Saturday. Worth to mention a great performance of forward Cristian Iglesias (200-94) who helped to win the game recording 19 points and 8 rebounds and point guard Martin Rodriguez (182-96) who added 12 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists during the contest. Four Chantada players scored in double figures. At the losing side forward Martin Bello (195-97) responded with 18 points and Senegalese center Mamadou Diagne (208-98) scored 13 points and 7 rebounds. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. Chantada maintains first position in Group A-C with 2-0 record.
