Regular Season Round 11: Lucenec - Levice 62-80

An interesting game for Levice (6-4) which played road game in Lucenec against second-ranked Lucenec (6-4). Third ranked Levice had an easy win 80-62. Levice made 17-of-19 charity shots (89.5 percent) during the game. Levice outrebounded Lucenec 45-28 including a 34-22 advantage in defensive rebounds. It was a great evening for international point guard Simon Krajcovic (191-94, college: LMU) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 25 points, 18 rebounds and 5 assists (was perfect 10-for-10 from the free throw line !!!). International forward David Abraham (192-96) helped adding 19 points. Four Levice players scored in double figures. American forward James Murray-Boyles (201-97, college: UNCP) responded with a double-double by scoring 14 points and 10 rebounds and international guard Robert Rozanek (190-96) scored 16 points. Levice have a solid series of three victories in a row. They moved-up to second place, which they share with defeated Lucenec. Levice will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Lucenec will play on the road against the league's leader Nova Ves and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
